Every foreign company is required to comply with the following:

Display at Office and Places of Business in India:

The name of the foreign company and the country in which it is incorporated must be:

Conspicuously displayed on the outside of every office or place of business in India.

Written in English and also in the local vernacular language.

Disclosure on Official Documents:

The company must mention the following on all its official correspondence and publications (letters, billheads, letter paper, notices, and other official publications):

The name of the company

The country of incorporation

The fact that it is incorporated outside India

The address of its principal place of business in India

Penalty for Non-Compliance:

If the company fails to comply, it may be liable to pay a penalty as prescribed under the Act.
